1. What is financial planning?

Financial planning is a systematic process for identifying, implementing and review strategies to protect and build you personal wealth. An important benefit of financial planning is action. Action does not allow us to waste time and miss opportunity. By planning with a professional your chances for success greatly improve.

2. Why and how should I choose a professional financial planner?

Our practice was built on offering experienced, expert advice. Please review these links to read articles from the CFP Board and CFA institute on how to choose an adviser.

4. What makes Miller Management different from everyone else?

There are several key differences between Miller Management and other firms. Expertise All of our advisers hold the most respected designations in their fields. Each designation has requirements not only for education, but ethics and continuing education requirements to make sure their designation holders are currently informed.
Experience Each adviser has a minimum of 8 years of experience in their field. You can be assured that they have dealt with many client situations and can help you achieve your goals in the most efficient manner possible.
Independence Miller Management is independent and offers objective financial advice and solutions for each of its clients. We are not required to sell products to continue. We have many resources at our disposal to help our client grow and maintain their wealth.
Breadth of Planning Our financial plan covers every area that the client shares with us. Our plans routinely cover debt management, cash flow, estate planning, business planning, philanthropy, taxation, wealth building and other areas. We are concerned about the whole client not just the amount of money we can manage or how much insurance we can sell before we go see the next client.
Service We work hard to return all calls and communication with 24 hours. We also have scheduled monthly calls to each one of our clients as well as annual reviews where we review, evaluate and progress every area of the plan for each client.

5. Fee v. Commission – which is better?

This is always a hot topic. Miller Management can earn compensation both ways and is always disclosed up front. For some clients paying commissions is the only way they may be able to get access to professional advisers while some clients want to engage on a fee based business so they what they are paying for. Either way clients can have access to the help they are looking for.
